Review of Powder Blue (2009) by Ari S — 13 Dec 2016
This film isn't as bad as critics are saying it is. Forrest is great as always feeling guilt, despair longing for death. Rays trying to connect with his daughter and grandson before he goes. Jessica I thought was better than expected she had to express several emotions while trying to just keep her head above water.
Highlight was Redmayne he has this unique ability to be so incredibly vulnerable without speaking the camera just gravitates to him. Overall a poor mans crash but the effort and experiences happened. It's not something that will stick with you but it's memorable enough to give due credit.
