090225: I was kindly offered passes to a pre-screening of this film (Thanks Warp One) and even got a Q&A with the Director afterwards. The acting was great, special effects great, cinematography great, pretty neat story, but I hate, absolutely hate, movies that leave you hanging. Questions unanswered. But, the Director assured us this is part of a trilogy and more will be explained, though he and the book writer prefer to leave their stories open ended. So, if you like to think of possibilities rather then get answers, go see it. Like I said, great film but I was frustrated with the ending. Made me jump out of my seat on one great occasion.
120317: Enjoyed it again but now more confused than ever. What?
