Review of Pontypool (2009) by Kenny N — 12 Apr 2015
From the director of "The Tracey Fragments" (a film about the horrors of being a teenager) comes a horror film about zombies. But these are no ordinary zombies. What sets them apart from the latest "Resident Evil" offering is something I'll let you find out for yourself.
Claustrophobic, intense, gradually but effectively building into terror, before hitting a crescendo of a finale, this is yet another example of great Canadian horror. (For a feminist werewolf movie, see "Ginger Snaps.
").
