Review of Pompeii (2014) by Todd P — 06 May 2014
I really can't understand why people don't like Pompeii. Yes it's predictable, but it's just so fun. The cast all deliver, perhaps with the exception of the annoyingly pouty Emily Browning.
There are a number of interesting stories running throughout, especially that of slave Atticus. When the volcano finally does erupt, it's great, and surprisingly accurate. That goes for the entire film, as the city of Pompeii is also very detailed and historically accurate.
This film is great fun from start to finish, and definately worth a watch on the big screen.
