I am convinced that movie critics take a "dare you to entertain me attitude when reviewing movies, possibly to justify a paycheck. I think they forget that not every movie has to have some profound message.

..some are made purely for fun and entertainment. I am weary of reading a review that slams a movie and end up liking it, along with other audience members who joined me in clapping at the end. Wake up and take the broomstick out of your butts! Some things were meant to be silly and unrealistic.

.otherwise we would just stay home and experience only our own lives for fun! I think, also, that the younger critics have become so technologically familiar, that they are desensitized to the awe of what they are watching.

..lighten up, will 'ya!!! I'm speaking of movies in general, not just Pompeii.
