Review of Pompeii (2014) by Vasco M — 27 Mar 2016

Pompeii is several movies that you've seen before. It swings from cliched to edgy. The characters are strong but flat, and the story is generic through the effects are quite good. Pompeii also sacrifices a lot of realism in it's mission to promote the relationship between the leads and the trials that they go through.

One thing stayed on my mind though, and that is while I heavily scrutinized the movie through its entirety, I was never bored.
