Pawl W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil(2002) and Death Race were enjoyable films and despite some problems, Event Horizon is also good for its inventiveness. However, this well cast film (Fuck Kiefer Sutherland though) cannot is one of the director's worst. The worst thing about this film is the editing in action scenes. Those action scenes are so fastly editted that its an instant eye sore. For its first hour, it was respectable and feels authentic, but after that the narrative becomes sluggish, the direction bad, the VFX range from good to over produced.
