Review of Poltergeist III (1988) by Originaldanger — 04 Sep 2020
Poltergeist III is a 1988 horror directed by Gary Sherman... Poltergeist III see's the return of Heather O'Rourke but she's now living with relatives or other family members or something in a high rise tower block I think.
. Everything seems roses until the evil forces return for her and you see the return of Kane obviously played by a different actor. The acting in Poltergeist III is pretty much non existent and all rather laughably bad however I still liked Heather O'Rourke's performance in Poltergeist III even though not as good as the original she gets my love for still being adorable and a princess but the other characters and acting in the film is hideous.
Zelda Rubinstein's performance is cringey, Nancy Allen is laughable and Tom Skerrit looks out of place, Lara Flynn Boyle is a bit silly and the other cast is somewhat dumb...The special effects if there was any are horrible and all we get is cracked mirrors, scenes of fog or smoke, the evil Kane and cheap scares that are more comedy than anything and look pathetically weak and laughably bad.
.. Poltergeist III is one of the worst movies ever made so stick to the original Poltergeist made in 1982 and avoid this disaster of a sequel called Poltergeist III which is a horror but the only real horror was it ever being made.
