As always, Sam Rockwell is the best thing about this truly boring horror remake; but unfortunately, he's the only one that seems to be attempting anything resembling acting. Like the original (come at me!) this movie's main problem is that.
..it's just...so so boring. The remake attempts to rush some aspects of the original, yet it still feels endless - especially given how "White Family In New / Haunted House Gets Fucked With By Ghosts" is now the de facto template for horror films.
