A breakneck adrenaline fuelled picture. In spite of Keanu's consistently woeful acting, this is still a really fun film to watch. Quite why Keanu has to learn to surf in order to catch these guys is never explained to anyone and clearly doesn't help him at all but the plot is not there as a solid foundation more as an excuse to allow for some crazy thrill seeking highlights.
For all its flaws, it is really enjoyable.
