Review of Point Blank (1967) by Noah R — 19 May 2009
Lee Marvin plays a professional criminal who is back stabbed by his partner and left for dead. Well, he doesn't die and comes looking for his share of the money.
This movie and Mel Gibson's Payback are both based off of the same novel so, it's the same story. Good movie, good performances. Not as action packed as the remake but, somehow a little more interesting because of how the characters are handled and the world in which they live feels more self contained.
