Review of Poetic Justice (1993) by Gareth D — 10 Nov 2010
I had the pleasure of seeing Poetic Justice when I was much younger and it still has the same impact on me emotionally back then as it does now. Next to Juice, this has to be one of Tupac Shakur's best performances.
And, Janet Jackson, this too has to be one of her best performances. Poetic Justice has to be one of the best dramas I have ever seen. Tupac (Lucky) is an agitated young postal worker aspiring to be a music artist.
He sets out on a road trip to fulfill his dream when he becomes lovestruck over a rebellious young female named Justice (Janet Jackson). This story, no matter your background will humor you in the least, and move you emotionally.
