Review of Playing by Heart (1998) by Sean D — 22 Dec 2008
A really interesting movie with a great all-star cast - with the exception of Gillian anderson and Jon Stewart. I found a lacking of chemistry and their scenes to drag. I was most impressed, however by Jay Moor, as he plays a different part than the arrogant roles he's usually type cast as.
Loved the cameos by Patricia Clarkson and Alex Maapa - even though, at the time, they weren't as well known, so are they still called cameos?
