Review of Play Dirty (1969) by Paul D — 03 Feb 2008
A brutal, uncompromising movie - not because of violence (though that delicious 1960s strawberry colored movie blood is in evidence). it's a stark depiction of the banality of modern warfare, and of the utterly hopeless plight of the soldier on the ground in the face of callous military strategy.
Vintage Caine.
