Review of Planet Terror (2007) by Alistair K — 05 Sep 2010
The problem with the "Grindhouse" movies is that they were way too polished and treated. A true Grindhouse stylization movie would be something like "Black Dynamite" or "House of the Devil", movies that were actually filmed and written like a 70's or 80's B-Movies.
It had a lot of humor and blood but its something that been done with a lot more subtly and intelligence.
