Review of Planet Hulk (2010) by Ted R — 06 Jan 2011
Finally Marvel makes an animated film worth watching with a great story (from the comic books) that has an interesting angle. The animation is not amazing, but it isn't awful as well. A lot of some of the new direct to video Marvel animation is awful and has an awful storyline.
In this instance Marvel has the right formula and the result is an enjoyable animated production that doesn't treat us comic book fans as Saturday morning sugar cereal eating children, but as thinking adults.
The comics never did this and Japanimation doesn't do this. So it's nice to see that maybe Marvel is getting the picture. DC got it long time ago.
