Review of Planet Hulk (2010) by Tristan Y — 04 May 2012

Nice animation and fluid action. Very good entertainment. Hulk on board the spaceship been exile from Earth. Iron Man send a message saying his rage is a devastating force. No choice but to send him to a planet which has no life form.

Hulk breaks free and smash around, crash land on a planet call Sakaar. The imperial army capture him. The captain shot a obedience disk onto him to make Hulk understand their language. He is been sold as a slave.

Lavin Skee, ex army of the local tyrant Red King, now joins the crew of gladiators/slaves for survival. He becomes resistance army but was caught. They must fight as a team to survive. Korg who is big, strong rock alien, is shock to know their opponents are his brothers.

But they are brainwash. Hulk aim for escaping only. They aren't their match. Lavin is stab at the back. Korg gets back up and defeated the trio. Miek told Hulk about the Red King and he now know who to smash.

Then another monster is summon to fight. Hulk just smash one punch and kill it. He jump to attack the Red King but is block by the bodyguard Caiera. The Red King wear body armor to fight Hulk but is hurt.

Caiera fight Hulk and then he was shot by laser ray from the Red King. Lavin is dead. Hiroim, Miek, Korg and Elloe forms alliance. Hiroim is exile by his own when he oppose to their prophecy that Red King is the savior.

Korg and his brothers comes to Earth to take resources but Thor and Beta Ray Bill defeats them away. They have to escape into a wormhole and crash onto Sakaar. Beta Ray Bill chase them hot on heels. Elloe is daughter of resistance army leader.

The people think Hulk is the savior. The 2nd match have them fighting robots and Hulk basically just crush them all single handed. Then the ultimate robot is next and Hulk still defeats it quite easily.

Hiroim saw a plant grow out from the spot which has Hulk blood. Caiera talks to Hulk and tells him her story. Alien bugs aka Spikes attacks her village and infected everyone becoming monster. She is force to kill everyone.

Red Prince comes to save her with army. Caiera know Elloe is planning to escape and want Hulk to follow the others to another isolated area as his presence has danger the place of Red King. She will ensure their safety.

Hulk didn't back down and want to fight Red King in the arena. When its time, Hulk warn them not to escape. All listen to him. Elloe step out anyway and all are dead. Their last match to freedom is against Beta Ray Bill.

His strength and hammer is too powerful for the rest. Hulk throw many swords at him and one break the disk. Hulk pummels him almost to death until the others stop him. Red King captures Elloe and want the winners to prove loyalty by killing her.

Hulk refuse and Red King is going to kill them all. Beta Ray Bill summons his power and breaks all the obedience disk. All slaves break riot and fight. Beta Ray Bill ask Hulk if he want to return to Earth and he decline.

Hulk strangle Red King to demand freedom. Hulk go solo while others can't make him join them to hide in safety. Red King want Caiera to kill Hulk. Miek talks to other same race alien and is warn of their danger.

The governor is in cahoot with Red King. Miek manage to kill the governor. Caiera fight Hulk and give him a deadly punch, but Hulk recover fast and surprise her. Then she saw the alien craft transporting spikes fly by.

The fight paused as she go to save the villagers. The others are also fighting the infected. Hulk comes to help his friends and get infected. Caiera is devastated to know that Red King summons the spikes.

Hulk protect the others hiding in cave when the bomb is drop. He is pronounce dead by Caiera and the others are capture back for execution. Hulk wakes up and fight Red King. Caiera free the others and they fight the army.

Red King summons his robot army. Hulk tears up Red King robot suit. He plead for mercy and throw him to Caiera. She didn't kill him but instead make him infected. The robot army detect infected Red King as target and kills him.

Hulk and Caiera is the new king and queen, Hulk is savior of Sakaar.
