Review of Pitch Black (2000) by Bearded M — 17 Feb 2015
This is a really great low budget anti-hero movie. At first it is all about the crash and being afraid of Riddick, then BAM, darkness, deadly creatures, screaming and all of a sudden everybody wants to be Riddicks best friend, why? Cause he is cool, and deadly, and oh yeah, I forgot, he is the only person on the whole planet that can see in the dark, which is incredibly helpful when the whole planet is in darkness for an unspecified amount of time and you have to get from point A to point B with deadly things all around you that have no problem seeing in the dark and are also very hungry. Cool. Overall this movie works great, it has a cool look to it, the acting is good and the story is fairly original. Plus it rocked 2 great sequels and introduced Vin Diesels best part to date. Vin was born to play Riddick, and fade to black.
4 Beards Out Of 5.
