Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is a masterpiece. Every single main cast character is played very well and is likable. Tiny Easter Eggs are used to connect it to the movie's origin, a Disney Park ride.
The script is written very well, and scenes are directed almost perfectly. Character development is "low-key" and doesn't feel forced and the movie makes you think. I really enjoy this movie.
