Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Bill B — 12 Apr 2008
A classic film that I'm uncertain about the appeal of. The film looks great, but the characters all seem to sleepwalk through their lives, there's never much emotion shown except during a few freak-out scenes over the missing girls.
I wasn't bored by the film, but I certainly wasn't drawn into it either.
