Review of Picnic (1955) by Catnip I — 27 May 2007
This movie had its good parts, but overall, I didn?t care for it. I thought it was way too contrived and fluffy. I find it hard to believe that two people can fall so desperately in love overnight?but, it is the belief in such a thing that makes the world turn, I suppose.
Holden and Novak were great together and I did enjoy the supporting cast. My biggest problem was the story?it was way too predictable and a bit mushy.
