Aside from the fact that technically, "Madge" (Kim Novak) never really does find the kind of love she is looking for: someone who loves her for more than her beauty, this day at the picnic turns out to be QUITE an exciting, melodramatic mess- which is VERY fun to watch! An enjoyable movie.
