Review of Picnic (1955) by Sanity Assassin ! — 03 Jan 2008
What a cast, huh? Holden is handsom even with a little tummy, Kim Novak shamless and overthetop as usual and there are good support from Arthur O'Connell and a young Cliff Robertsen. But the real treat is Roselind Russell in one of her best performances.
This is probably Joshua Logans best film and it looks wonderful on the big screen.
