Review of Pickpocket (1959) by Jeff B — 01 Jun 2007
This is only the second Bresson film I've seen, and I prefer Au Hasard Balthazar. But this film still had some great moments, particularly all of the pickpocketing scenes. The way it was edited and the acting, it really felt like I was watching an actual heist.
All of the different faces in the film sort of confused me, but overall I thought it was a good movie. I also liked the ending.
