Review of Phenomena (1985) by Robbie K — 24 Oct 2018
Really liked this film . Jennifer Connelly first leading role. This music was great. The dream/nightmare sequences add their own horrific content to the story. Donald Pleasance was great and so was his pet chimp.
This film was wild. Connelly at age 15 did a fantastic job whose unusual power to control insects . Jennifer was asked to do some grotesque scene's ( maggots) I was impressed by the entire 116 minute version of Phenomena is often referred to as the "integral cut".
I have never seen any of Dario Argento's work . Good stuff. As I am still thinking about the film Phenomena the next day.
