Review of Phenomena (1985) by Joe G — 20 Jun 2007
Not Argento's best, but still entertaining. This flick is a testament to Argento's talent as a director. The content and story is very weak and forgettable, but the visual storytelling of the film make it a compelling expirence.
I think the fantasy undertones in the movie were also a good resume bullet for Connelly who eventually got the lead in Labyrinth. I have to mention the coverart on the box. It's amazing and of the many video boxes I've seen in my life, it's one of the best.
I was so afraid of this box as a child.
