May be Argento's most bizarre horror film and his most heartfelt. Like all of Argento's work this is amazing to look at, and full of dream-like atmosphere, but unlike many of his films, the plot, channeled into one strange, dark fairy tale, really works to create tension and surprise.
Features one of the all-time great chimp performances.
