I spent a good portion of the film wondering where exactly my suspension of disbelief started and ended but after the unveiling of the gorgeous and gory final act, I was sold. The practical effects are masterful.
Balanced with the earnest depiction of teen drama are some genuine, beautiful, and thoughtfully executed scares.
