Review of Phenomena (1985) by Lee B — 13 Nov 2015
Slow as molasses!!! They could have easily edited a good 15 minutes out of the movie. Some scenes were excruciatingly slow while others showed pointless mundane things that had nothing to do with the movie.
Plenty of stupid things happen all through the movie like when Jennifer Connelly knocks the psycho mother down but not out then turns her back on her to use the phone. The only saving grace was Jennifer as eye candy and even so, and I hate to admit it, but she had not developed into the great actress that she is now.
The sound track was so annoying it was distracting. This sticker gets zero stars but add one star for the eye candy and one star for the Tanga, the chimpanzee; this movie probably ruined what could have been a promising career for him.
