A brief sampling of the manifold reasons to see this movie: 1) "Rainbow Connection" songwriter Paul Williams composed the often-brilliant songs. 2) The actor who voices Jay's dad on "The Critic" plays a lisping glam rocker named Beef.
3) The film's striking use of color recalls "Suspiria," even more so because the two movies share star Jessica Harper.
