Review of Phantom of the Paradise (1974) by Luke S — 05 Oct 2013
There's not a lot of horror musical comedies out there but this one takes the cake. "Phantom of the Paradise" is pure, unadulterated fun. A zany (that's right, zany) little film that works way better than it has any right to.
Pre-"Carrie" Brian De Palma writes and directs and legendary composer Paul Williams provides some great, catchy songs but Gerrit Graham steals the show as rock star "Beef".
