Review of Phantasm: Ravager (2016) by Movingpictures — 03 May 2020
The worst of failing franchise. The first two films were above average 80s horror fun. The third and fourth films were below average and lacked cohesion over any overarching point for existing. This is by far the worst.
It's chopped up mess of ideas that doesn't resolve any of the mess that came before. But what is considerably worse than anything that came before it is the cinematography and the special effects. It's just difficult to look at.
What a mess.
