Review of Phantasm (1979) by Gus S — 20 May 2008
Very, very strange, confusing movie, and thatâ??s an understatement. But the fact that you're not sure whatâ??s going on makes the movie scary and the explanation at the end in completely unexpected and satisfactory.
However, the very, very ending was unnecessary. Low budget, but the shots and locations were chosen well so the movie really pulls off a scary story.
