Review of Phantasm (1979) by Ungeziefer & Loving It! — 22 May 2008
Another one of my favorite horror films, like its Italian cousins from the 70's, the film favors style and arbitrary gothic terror in place of strict reality or logical explainations. What cannot be known is far more horror than a run of the mill piece of crap like "Saw".
Great music by the director (Don Coscarelli) himself. Great performance by Reggie Banister.
