A Strange movie this one... Shows its age with the filming which Quite poor - Not brilliantly directed but this was by the Hollywood standrads of the day quite a low budget affair so view it as such and enjoy.
The Story is a weird mix of Horror and Sci-Fi and has its momants of sheer brilliance. Its no wonder it became a long running franchise.
