Jennifer Garner isn't a name I would automatically associate with the words "action hero" but man this action film is as good as any Jack Reacher, Transporter, etc. action flick. There's drugs, gangs, guns, knives, blood, exacting justice on the baddies, and laughs to boot.
Action from the very 1st scene and a rich backstory that really makes you care about the hero. This was well made and satisfying. And I don't want to hear any women saying it was a great female hero, I didn't consider her gender when looking at this flick.
She played a great hero period. Hats off, this was an unexpected surprise.
