Way ahead of its time. watch this if you like the darkest hitchcock. it has echoes of cortázar, 'blow up' and even zulueta. the camera becomes a disturbing character, that even deserves a kiss. just brilliant. but the most disturbing thing is the blind woman! by far! she really gave me the creeps!
Btw, this was (quite obviously) released in 1960, dunno why flixter says it was 1999...
