Due to the success of the Pee Wee Herman children's show on television back in the 80's they of course made a movie. This is directed by Tim Burton. It sort of feels like a Burton movie. But overall I found it to be like a long episode of Pee Wees Playhouse.
Paul Reubens will always be known for two things. Pee Wee and that exposure scandal at a movie theatre. But besides that point kids may enjoy this more than adults. Pee Wee can get under your skin at times but he does have moments of being funny.
This movie may appeal to fans of the old Pee Wee Playhouse television show.
