Review of Patriots Day (2016) by Nate T — 28 Feb 2017
A very well done film rendering of the Boston, MA bombings of April 2013. While the actors don't look entirely like the people they portray, I tend to doubt that viewers will complain much given the quality of the actors on display here.
Goodman's makeup is a little over done and the disappearing and reappearing of Boston accents may be a bit distracting for Bostonians. But fear not, this is a good film. It should also be noted that Wahlberg plays a blend of people as a character.
This was done to make the events a little less sprawling than they would have been if you had to keep track of several more characters. On Blu-Ray.
