"Patriots Day" is a gripping and moving motion picture that had me on the edge of my seat. It is a movie that succeeds in honoring the victims and heroes involved in this tragic and recent event.

I thought the movie was directed well and the tension never really stopped. The sequence involving the bombing itself was harrowing and difficult to watch but laid the foundation of the movie well. Mark Wahlberg does a good job in the lead role and all of the supporting work is good too.

These characters feel like what they are, and that is actual people. It's a movie that is engaging from start to finish and one that stays with you well after the credits roll. .
