Review of Pather Panchali (1955) by Nick B — 25 Jan 2008
I already need a rewatch. A film that is very slowly paced, but when you are looking back at it, you can see how beautiful it is. The relationship between Druga and Apu is very well done, as well as the afflictions of a rural family in India in the 1920s.
This film is quite immersive as well, placing you into one of the more foreign environments on film. I already need a rewatch.
