This is one of the movies that make up the life of Apu...from birth to fatherhood. With Ravi Shankar's music to take you through, this trilogy held me captivated throughout. Following Apu's struggles through his tragedies and discoveries left me marked forever with my already intense love for India.
I savored every minute of this story and will keep it with me always. A beautiful, raw emerald of a film...simply BEAUTIFUL.
