Great portrayal of LBJ by Michael Gambon and a chilling performance by Alec Baldwin as Robert McNamara. Lots of psychological drama as the participants agonise over the disaster they have created. Fails ultimately as it does not come clean over the Gulf of Tonkin incident which was used as a pretext to give LBJ the untrammelled authority to escalate the war.
