Review of Path to War (2003) by William W — 21 Mar 2008
Really compelling political thriller, with epic tragic aspirations. Sophisticated and complex, bringing larger-than-life leaders to a human level to examine how decisions of this magnitude are made, and what it costs those who have to make them.
Very strong performances all around, particularly Sutherland, Gambon (despite accent difficulty) and Baldwin.
