Review of Passengers (2016) by Movie M — 30 Sep 2017
"Passengers" basically feels like one long scene, which is never a good thing for a movie. Although it does have an interesting premise, as being stranded on a ship for the rest of your life is a very unsettling thing to think about, it doesn't really live up to that hype.
There were some little things sprinkled in here and there throughout, but for the most part nothing really happened in this movie, and all in all it just wasn't that entertaining. The acting from Chris Pratt (Jim Preston), and Jennifer Lawrence (Aurora Lane) was definitely the best part of this movie, but sadly one of the only good parts.
There were some things that made me believe that this movie had potential, especially in the beginning, as the idea of the premise was still fresh, however as I said, nothing else happens to make me feel anything in this movie.
"Passengers" wasn't a complete waste of time, however it wasn't anything to really write home about. "Passengers" is not worth watching.
