Review of Passengers (2016) by Dirigiblepulp — 20 May 2017
I don't get the fuss over the supposedly "misleading trailers." It's fine for a trailer not to reveal every secret, and it's not like it fundamentally changed the movie all that much. It's still about two people stranded alone on a spaceship, awake too early, falling in love.
It's the surprising lack of chemistry and dull, flat direction of the thing that should be inspiring the ire.
