Review of Paris Je T'aime (2006) by Ben S — 30 Mar 2009
I'll just say this - a lot of people have complaints against montages of short stories because they feel that, after getting into the story, they're left in the dust with just a small, unsatisfactory taste.
Is that just as true for Paris Je T'aime? Probably, but you do get a little teaser at the end to minimize any feelings along those lines. I think that anyone who doesn't mind being a little shocked but also humored by a general theme of love's appearance in all aspects of our life - whether we are American or French or Spanish, Atheist or Christian or Muslim - can find a story in here that they can fall in love with.
As for me, I loved them all.
