Review of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) by Tait W — 04 Aug 2013

I went to see this last thursday. I was a major fan of the first one and had high expectations although it was quite disappointing. Basically A family suffer break ins so they put up security cameras in their home, they soon discover it to be Paranormal Activity.

Unlike the first one we are given more history and background. The best thing with Paranormal activity 2 is that the Activities are less predictable. In Paranormal Activity it was only at night, whereas Paranormal Activity 2 it happens all the time.

The Major problem with the film is the same as it was in the first one it takes to long. I watched six people leave half way through. There is a reason for this, to build up tension, this works so well that the last half an hour to forty five minutes of this film is terrifying.

It is definatly worth the wait, worth 6 pounds im not sure. Its more enjoyable watching it with a few friends or on your own. If you enjoyed the first one, you'll enjoy this, If you hated the first one then you'll dislike this one as there extremly similar.

Good Tension, Fantastic finish, brilliant conclusion but takes to long to get into it, Not enough Paranormal Activity.
