Finally a Gus Van Sant movie I actually enjoyed. I always felt like he had promise as a director ie I liked his style but his 2 other movies I'd seen: Last Days and Elephant were boring due to no story.
I loved this film, I loved its slow style and middle of nowhere setting, but some of the shots with music and slow motion skateboarding were a bit longer than they needed to be.
