Gus Van Sant does it again. This one reminded me of Elephant with it's quiet moments, unconventional music placements, and a different kind of acting. This movie went by really fast for me. Which I guess means I was entertained.
Beautiful skating shots, which looked grainy/super 8 film style. I love how the actors stutter/mumble/say umms just like real people. So again, if you liked movies like Elephant or Last Days, make sure to check this one out.
Very different kind of high school movie. Maybe because it's rare to get such a realistic teen movie.
